About
Hi, I’m Craig. I’m an integrative Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Yoga Practitioner based in Greater Manchester. I offer a warm, inclusive and grounding space for people who feel caught in the sticky, painful or uncertain parts of life — a place where you can slow down, be met with care, and begin to make sense of what is happening beneath the surface. Together, we can explore what feels stuck, reconnect you with your own wisdom, and support meaningful change that feels honest, sustainable and true to who you are. For most of my adult life, I’ve been drawn to the helping professions, a path that led me into counselling, psychotherapy and yoga. These practices have shaped my own growth in profound ways, and I bring them together with compassion, curiosity and care to support yours.
My route into therapeutic work began with a BSc in Psychology and developed through a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. Alongside this, I trained as a yoga teacher and was struck by the deep connections between counselling, psychology and yoga — particularly how each can support awareness, healing and change. I’m currently completing training in Transpersonal Yoga, which continues to deepen my understanding of yoga, spirituality and transpersonal therapy, and how these can support a more embodied and meaningful therapeutic process.
I’m committed to ongoing professional growth so that the support I offer remains thoughtful, ethical and responsive to your needs. I regularly engage in supervision, courses and workshops, including further study in therapeutic yoga, psycho-spiritual work, trauma-informed practice and Buddhism. This commitment to lifelong learning is one of the things I love most about therapy — and it means I bring curiosity, care and fresh insight into the work we do together.
I’m part of the Queer community and identify as a white, gay, cis man using he/him pronouns. My Professional Boundaries statement can be a helpful part of our work if we exist within the same community. I aim to create an inclusive, affirming space that respects gender, sexuality, relationship styles, religious and spiritual beliefs. My intention is to offer a space free from shame and judgement, where you can gently arrive as you are and explore what matters to you. Through 1:1 sessions, offered on a short- or long-term basis, I can support you to express more of yourself, understand the layers of your experience, and begin to identify what you want moving forward.
